This story as reported by DomainNews.com
Perth.com is for sale by auction on Saturday US time according to a report in the West Australian newspaper. Of course, the domain name will be of most interest, given the likely price, for someone having something to do with Perth, but there could be other interest from other “Perths” such as the one in Scotland. Bruce Tonkin from Melbourne IT predicts the domain name could sell for around $100,000.
Over the weekend it ended up selling for $200,000. Not bad at all!
As Perth Western Australia is my home town I would be in big trouble if I missed this story!
