Vân Trang Jang Doll wins top 1 female 42km at Y Tý Mùa Vàng 2026, conquers Lảo Thẩn amid controversy

The Y Tý Mùa Vàng 2026 race held on September 6 featured a memorable moment in trail running. Vân Trang, nicknamed Jang Doll, won the top spot in the women's 42km category. Despite the demanding course with steep descents and over 1300 meters of elevation gain, the 2026-born mother of four completed it excellently. Notably, she secured second overall, only behind one male runner with a time of 4 hours 26 minutes. The glory at 2860 meters above sea level ended with the full honor, but behind it was the wave of online discussion about her figure.
